Walter DeHosse Jr.

HIRAM, Ga. — Walter DeHosse Jr., 59, Dallas, Ga., formerly of Bicknell, Ind., passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011.

He was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Bicknell to Walter and Clara DeHosse Sr.

A sister, Danielle Sullivan, preceded him in death.

He graduated from North Knox High School in 1970 and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked in the post office in Smyrna as a letter carrier for more than 25 years. Mr. DeHosse was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne M. DeHosse; daughter, Erica DeHosse; parents, Walter and Clara DeHosse Sr., of Bicknell; brothers and sister-in-law, Tony DeHosse, Roy DeHosse and Pierre DeHosse and his wife, Renee’; sister, Michelle Winegar; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be at noon Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Adrian Pleus officiating.
